Most likely NO!! When all costs are factored, the average physician spends 15% on medical billing and collections. Expenses include payroll and benefits, clearinghouse, postage, software, upgrades, office space, etc… Our fee is based on your per claim average and can range from 5% – 9%.

We have a medical group that converted their billing space into two patient rooms. They were able to hire another PA and generate additional revenue using their former billing space. Not only did they save on their billing costs but they also generated additional revenue.

Our clients will have full access to our medical billing software. You will be able to login and review accounts, run management reports, and review productivity reports. In addition, we will have weekly meetings with your management where topics of concern will be reviewed, the status of A/R, etc…

We will include a toll free number on their patient statement directing them to call our office with any billing questions. We will supply your office with our business cards so that our contact information is available for your patients. Our philosophy is “Your patients are our patients”. We will answer their questions, help them resolve insurance issues and address any concerns that they may have.

We have developed an easy, organized system for the exchange of data. Via either a scanner and/or a specialized print driver, your patient demographics, charge encounter forms, EOBs, insurance correspondence, etc. … will be uploaded to our secure portal. All uploaded information is defaulted to a “pending” status and routed to your designated billing staff and account representative. Your work will be processed within 24-hours of receipt.

Very little will be required from your office for the transition. We will provide you with a check list of information needed (fee schedule, list of insurance, provider number, etc…). Our company will set up your data base, handle all registrations for EDI services and our electronic clearinghouse. Some offices prefer to work their outstanding A/R themselves. Should you opt for our company to work your old A/R then there will be some time required for gathering patient information, claim history, etc… The training required for your office to use our secure portal and implement our organized system is very minimal and extremely simple. We estimate the “go live” date to be a total of 2-4 weeks from the time the contract is signed.
